Daniela Custrin

Daniela Custrin (b. 1997) is an independent curator and writer based in Bucharest. Her practice explores alternative ways of writing and speaking, often circling around hesitation, intimacy, and new aesthetic categories found on the internet. She runs the Substack blog fearofsharing.corporation, a space where she experiments with forms of writing and self-articulation. She holds a BA in Linguistics and Literature and a Master’s degree from the Visual Culture Department at the Center of Excellence in Image Studies. Between 2025 and 2026, she was the Artistic Director of Zina Gallery in Cluj Napoca. In 2023, she was the curator of SEQUENCE & Mântuleasa, a series of five exhibitions accompanied by community-oriented and performative events, held in the vitrine of Suprainfinit Gallery.
