Sânziana Șendroiu
Sânziana is an anthropology student in Bucharest, gradually developing her bachelor’s thesis, which brings together themes that have most captivated her during her studies: antispeciesism, anti-authoritarianism, and a broader discussion on violence. At the same time, she is interested in exploring how education can be conducted more sustainably, though she still feels too inexperienced to respond definitively, despite having tested her ideas through a year-long experiment as a primary school teacher. Summers often find her driven by the metaphorical “ants on her soles,” urging her to explore further. You might find her diving into lakes, caring for animals at the vegan sanctuary Nima, immersed in old journals, or with her nose buried in a cat’s fur.
